You will not be able to find Yapper in an app store, but we have developed a Progressive Web App for your convenience!
Follow these easy steps to make sure that you’re taking Yapper everywhere you go:
For Android, use the Chrome browser.
For iPhone, use the Safari browser.
- Log into your Dashboard on your mobile device
- On the top right of your browser, click on three dots right under each other and select ‘Add to Home screen’
- Save the Yapper icon on your Home screen

Member Account FAQ's
Go to your Dashboard and click on the top left, on ‘My Details’, and update your details. Make sure to click ‘Update My Details’ to save any changes.
There is a button on the login page to reset your password. It is available by clicking the ‘FORGOTTEN YOUR PASSWORD?’ button. You will receive an email notification with a new link to reset your password. You should be up and running in no time!
Go to your Dashboard and on the top left click ‘My Details’ and scroll down to log out.

Points FAQ's
Earn 100 points daily. You can log as many activities as you want but only earn a maximum of 100 points per day. Additional activities will be logged at 0 points value. Daily Activity Points go towards your Yapper Tag Status, Top Dog Leaderboard and the Monthly Challenges. The Daily Activity button no longer greys out when an activity is logged, as you can log as many as you like.
Earn 50 points daily. You can log as many feeds as you want but only earn a maximum of 50 points per day. Additional activities will be logged at 0 points value. Daily Feed Points go towards your Yapper Tag Status, Top Dog Leaderboard and the Monthly Challenges. The Daily Activity button no longer greys out when an activity is logged, as you can log as many activities as you like.
Double your Daily Activity and Daily Feed Points. You can log a Multiplier once per week. Multipliers run from 12:00 am Monday morning until 11.59 pm Sunday evening. Multipliers can be logged any time during the 7 day period and will double any Daily Activity and Daily Feed Points you earn during that week. These points go towards your Yapper Tag Status, Top Dog Leaderboard, and Monthly Challenges. The Multiplier button greys out when completed.
By logging your health checks with proof you will earn:
Vaccination – 5 000 points per year
De-worming – 500 points quarterly
Tick & Flea – 500 points quarterly
Preventative Dental Care – 2 500 points per year
Microchip Activation – 5 000 points per year
Sterilisation – 3 000 points per year
Health checks run from the 1st of January to 31st of December every year. Health Check Points go towards your Yapper Tag Status and Top Dog Leaderboard only. Health Checks do not count towards the Monthly Challenge. The Health Check buttons will grey out when completed.
InBarks
InBarks are available once-off. Make sure to check out the Dashboard each day to not miss out on any points. Once you opened the InBarks and completed a potential task, the button will grey out and will only highlight again when a new one becomes available.
Bonus Points have various point values.
Bonus Points run from the 1st of January to 31st of December every year. These points go towards your Yapper Tag Status and Top Dog Leaderboard only. Bonus Points do not count towards the Monthly Challenge. The Bonus Point buttons will grey out when completed. Additional Bonus Point activities will be added during the year.
The Top Dog Leaderboard competition runs from the 1st of January to the 31st of December. All points earned in the various activities, Health Checks and Bonus Points will go towards this Leaderboard. Additional Bonus Points, activities and challenges will be added during the year. The top 3 dogs on the Leaderboard will qualify for prizes. Points reset to 0 at the start of every year.
The Monthly Challenge runs from the 1st of every month and ends at 11:59 pm on the last day of the month. Points are earned via Daily Activity, Daily Feeds, and Weekly Multipliers only. Additional Bonus Point Activities may be added during the month. The Top 10 doggos on the Leaderboard will qualify for monthly prizes. Winners will be announced within 7 days of month-end. Points reset to 0 at the start of every month.
As you earn points during the year, you paw up and increase your Yapper Tag Status. Each Tag Status unlocks a variety of benefits from our Paw Partners.
Currently, there are four levels to unlock:
- Blue
- Green
- Gold
- Black
Points allocation for your tag status runs from the 1st of January to the 31st of December every year. In year one, every doggo starts with a Blue Tag and has the opportunity to paw up during the year. In year two, every doggo carries their current Tag Status into the next year and points are reset to 0.
For example: if you get to Gold Tag Status in 2019, you will start the year in 2020 with Gold Tag Status and qualify for all the benefits of a Gold Tag. However, points will reset to 0, and you will need to continue to paw up during the year to keep or increase your Tag Status for 2021.

Yes – Daily Activity Points can be earned automatically.
Make sure you download the Fitbark app and that you are registered on your Fitbark account. You can then validate the Fitbark registration on your human profile. We hope each pet has one, so make sure to link this to the correct pet on their pet profile. Once validated, you can start earning points. This is done automatically when your pet reaches its goal. Points should be allocated within 48 hours of activity completion.
Yes – all points are automatically added to the various Leaderboards. The Yapper team will review all uploads and will reject invalid documents. If a document is rejected points will be deducted from your profile. You will receive an email notification with the rejection. Don’t worry though, you can re-upload a document. The action will become available again for you to resubmit a valid document.
InBarks is available once-off, so make sure to check out the Dashboard each day so that you don’t miss out on any points. Once you open the InBarks and complete the potential task, the button will grey out and will only highlight again when a new one becomes available.
