Can you imagine eating the same thing every day of your life? Yeah, well dogs do! Although their food does offer important nutrients for their health, we thought we’d put together a list of things you can cook for your best buddy in the name of bonding!

The food below is also human-friendly, so don’t be scared to try it out.

Let’s get to it. Here’s what you can make for you and your doggo:

Breakfast

It’s the most important meal of the day, and in our opinion, the tastiest! Cooking breakfast for you and your pup has to be one of the best ways to start your day, right?

Scrambled Eggos

It’s a simple dish for you and your pup to enjoy. Make sure that when you cook scrambled eggs you’re avoiding using milk, onions and excessive amounts of oil. Eggs provide important amino acids and proteins for you and pup. It’s also a great way to settle an upset tummy. Disclaimer: just make sure you chat to your vet about your doggo’s symptoms. We don’t suggest feeding your pup eggs every day as they contain fatty acids that, in high amounts, can lead to obesity. Why is it soo difficult to have too much of a good thing? Such is life.

It’s important to step in here and let you know that if you’re going to spice your food, only spice your own as it’s not healthy for your pup. The best way to go about this is to keep it simple.

Next on the menu is lunch!

Lunchtime is fun-time and even better when your pup is in the kitchen with you, make sure everything smells good. So what do we have planned for lunch?

It’s beef with a bed of spinach!

Make sure that you’re feeding your pup lean mince without any additives. The best way to cook the spinach is to boil it. Spinach is great for puppers as it contains important vitamins A, B, C and K. It’s also rich in iron, which will help blood health. The roughage from the spinach will also aid the digestive tract. Once lunch is cooked, make sure it’s served cold for doggo, as hot food can cause mouth problems.

It’s dinner time.

Who doesn’t like chicken and rice? If you’re vegan – who doesn’t like rice? Your pup would love BOTH! Chicken is lean meat that’s healthy for you and your pup.

Chicken and rice

The only way to do it for doggo’s is to boil the chicken, and boil it well! Raw chicken can contain bacteria which is harmful to you and your pup. Brown rice is a great way to help your dog with an upset tummy and it contains more essential nutrients than white rice.

We need to mention that you should feed your dog the above in small amounts as it’s possible, like some humans, that they might not enjoy it.
